Wed, 17 May 2006 In this episode, Athena Cycles, illeagal soap box racers, feedback, SLC bike tour, pedal masher and part one of my conversation with Deb Carabet nutritionist and chef. Here's the video of the soap box racers. Here's the images from the enhanced version. And here's a recipe for home made granola bars.Quick & Easy Granola Bars Ingredients 1 Cup Coconut 1 Cup Sesame Seeds 1/2 Cup slivered nuts or other nuts of your choice (almonds are good) 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds 5 Cups Oatmeal 1 Cup Wheat Germ Dried Fruit- banana chips, raisins, dates. 1 Cup Honey 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Cup Oil 1. Mix all the dry ingredients. Stir on stove until blended. 2. Mix honey, brown sugar and oil dry together. Add to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. 3. Press this onto a cookie sheet about _ inches thick. Bake in a SLOW oven (About 200 degrees) 15 to 20 minutes. 4. Cool thoroughly, breaking up the mixture. Store in airtight container Comments[7] |
